Our red label Somerset Tasmanian Single Malt Whisky is produced from our lightly peated spirit and aged in French and American oak casks that previously held Australian Shiraz and a mix of Australian fortified wines for a minimum of 3 years before melding together for a final rest in a double vessel solera.
a bouquet of berries and stone fruits fresh meet the nose, followed by a smooth and approachable body with rich red fruits and subtle spice dominating the palate before easing to a lingering balanced smoky finish.
Smooth, rich and fruity this is a whisky made for drinking not collecting dust on a shelf, it embodies what not following the crowd can bring to the table.
