When life gives you lemons make lemonade, when life gives you mandarins make spiced
rum cane spirit.
Brewed on-site from pure unrefined organic sugarcane and pristine Tasmanian water then flame distilled in a single copper pot still, Wild Spice is a spiced organic cane spirit that isn’t quite old enough to be called rum in Australia.
After distillation, this spirit was aged for an initial three months using first-fill American oak casks, then decanted and infused with a mix of 17 botanicals including baked mandarin peel and dried mandarins (that may or may not have been stolen straight from mums garden) before being put back to rest for an additional 18 months while all those flavours got thoroughly acquainted with each other.
Driven by flavours of cinnamon, citrus and marzipan this spirit is the perfect addition to any rum driven cocktails or mixes but is not a big fan of ginger ale – try some lemonade instead.
